Growing up in Oceanport, New Jersey, JT Schloesser's love affair with film and videography ignited back in 2015. It all began with a serendipitous purchase of a used Canon Powershot SX60 from a middle school peer for just a hundred bucks. From there, JT poured his heart into capturing street BMX moments for his tight-knit circle, purely as a passionate hobby.

 

Then, one transformative night during his high school years, JT found himself at a rap concert in Montclair, New Jersey, headlined by none other than 'A Boogie Wit The Hoodie'. As the artist and his videographer took the stage, the electric energy of the crowd, illuminated by a sea of phone lights, ignited something within JT. In that singular moment, his path was forever altered – he was determined to carve his mark as the industry's preeminent filmmaker.

 

Determined and undeterred by challenges, including his dyslexia, JT honed his skills by directing and filming music videos for local hip-hop artists, tirelessly perfecting his craft with each project. Despite initial hurdles, JT's perseverance paid off when he landed his first gig – a $50 opportunity to film a recap video for an underground hip-hop concert in Staten Island. This seemingly modest event fueled JT's creativity, propelling him to refine his editing style and showcase his work on Instagram, gradually amassing a devoted following.

 

As JT's reputation burgeoned, so did his opportunities. From securing all-access passes to film concerts for headlining artists like "WIFI Funeral" to being handpicked as personal cameraman for Flatbush Brooklyn's own CASANOVA 2x, JT's journey took him from the sidelines to the spotlight of premier studios and iconic venues like the Barclays Center.

 

But JT's narrative doesn't stop at music – it transcends genres. A chance encounter with world champion boxer Stephen Fulton Jr. catapulted JT into the realm of sports videography. Despite being a novice in boxing, JT's dedication and knack for storytelling forged a lifelong bond with Stephen, leading to unforgettable moments capturing live bouts, rubbing shoulders with legends like Mike Tyson, and even gracing the stage of Mike Tyson's Hot Boxin' Podcast.
